Do I have to cut carbs to lose fat?
So I go to a weight loss clinic and been put on some appetite suppressant pills because I was pretty overweight.. I run every weekday for an hour before I have my breakfast (160bpm at least). The nurses at the clinic told me to skip carbs all together and said once I do that I will lose fat because my body will use up my fat storage. I find this REALLY hard to believe (and kinda scared about it) only because I know carbs play a big role in your body in giving you energy and I do really run for an hour every morning before breakfast and work ... Are they correct? If I cut my carbs will I lose fat more easily? I don't plan on losing any muscle any time soon... I run at around 70 to 90% of my heart rate zone depending on how high uphill I'm going..

Has anyone ever been to weight loss clinic?
I gained 60lbs while I was pregnant. I have been having a hard time losing the pregnancy weight. I have tried so hard to lose it but I am desperate, A friend of mine suggested going to a weight loss clinic. She lost 40lbs in about 4 months. I was just wondering if anyone has ever been to one.
